Black Friday...or Thursday

This year was my first year to hit the sales after Thanksgiving. My best friend Stephanie and I drove by the local Target at 7:30 to see what kind of line was forming. Well, it was enough of a line to drive home, gear up and head back and pop a squat for the next 4 hours.

We were originally going for $5 scarves but then after waiting 4 hours, I decided I was going to need something a little more worthy of my time then a few $5 scarves. We ran into a friend a few people ahead of us and he came and entertained us for some of the time, took a trip to the Gate gas station for coffee, the restroom and a deck of cards, made friends around us, watched some drama over the T.V tickets and of course laughed because we were standing in line for 4 hours at Target (where they know us on a first name basis).

I ended up going to the electronics to pick of a Nikon Camera for $99 while Steph took off for the scarves. I had so much fun running around my home away from home like I was on Super Market Sweep! We were back to the car by 12:45 and ended up going back inside just to watch people and see what was left.

Steph scored a toaster oven for under $20, a Shark floor cleaner for $49 and a bundle of picture frames for $12. I can't wait to do it again!!
